Erasing the Traces of Time – Dior Cardholder Edge Repair & Restoration

A Dior cardholder that had accompanied its owner through years of daily use arrived at Lederraum for restoration.
The edge coating (edge paint) along the leather borders had peeled, melted, and discolored from prolonged friction and heat.

The melted edge had stuck onto the leather surface, leaving a tacky residue and visible discoloration.
At Lederraum, we carefully removed the melted coating without damaging the leather, refined the entire edge line, and reapplied a fresh finish using premium Italian edge coat.

For this reason, we recommend early restoration when signs of wear first appear.

After examining the product directly, we proceed with the most suitable restoration method for each individual item.
