Today, we’re sharing a restoration story featuring
Proenza Schouler suede shoes—known for their distinctive design and architectural elegance—
including front toe scuff repair and Vibram outsole replacement.
Before Restoration
Suede, by nature, is particularly sensitive to friction,
so the toe area often wears down or scuffs easily with regular use.
These black suede shoes arrived with the front toe slightly worn and peeled.
The outsoles were also noticeably slippery and worn down,
making full replacement and reinforcement necessary.
Restoration Process
1. Toe Repair & Suede Restoration
We carefully trimmed and cleaned the scuffed area,
then matched the suede’s color and texture to rebuild the surface
with a delicate touch-up, restoring a natural, seamless finish.

2. Vibram Sole Replacement
After removing and cleaning the worn-out sole,
we replaced it with a Vibram non-slip outsole—
a durable, high-traction option that maintains the shoe’s slim silhouette
while improving stability and comfort.
After Restoration
The suede’s soft, matte texture was preserved beautifully,
and the front toe area regained a clean, refined look—
almost like new.
The Vibram sole was rounded and balanced to improve grip,
enhancing comfort without altering the original shape.
